Ocean State Job Lot and Ecogy Energy Celebrate Completion of 250kW Solar Array on the Roof of Richmond, RI OSJL Store

Ribbon cutting ceremony to feature a speaking program and rooftop tours

What:
Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with 152 stores throughout New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and Ecogy Energy, a Newport, Rhode Island based developer, financier and owner-operator, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 12th to celebrate the completion of a 250kW solar array on the roof of OSJL’s store located at 12 Stilson Road in Richmond.

The morning will include a speaking program, tours of the rooftop solar array, and informational presentations.

OSJL’s rooftop solar array in Richmond is the company’s third, and part of the retailer’s ongoing plan to host the largest rooftop solar portfolio in Rhode Island, hosted atop its stores from Westerly to Woonsocket. This solar portfolio is just one representation of OSJL’s continued dedication to expanding sustainability initiatives company-wide and to giving back to their community.
