Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation Partners with Sid Wainer & Son/Chefs’ Warehouse and Performance Food Group to Deliver Fresh Produce to Northumberland, NH Amid Flooding Crisis
Executive Director of Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation is available for phone interviews
What: In response to the recent catastrophic flooding in New Hampshire, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation (OSJLCF) is delivering 40,000 plus pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to help those affected in Northumberland, NH, early Saturday morning.
The OSJLCF, Sid Wainer & Son/Chefs’ Warehouse in New Bedford, MA, and Performance Food Group in Taunton, MA, have formed a partnership to provide this food.
A free food market will be hosted tomorrow in the lot across from Groveton High School starting at 12 p.m. to ensure those in need have access to fresh and healthy food during this challenging time.
