Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Town of Newburgh Store Opening
Store is OSJL’s 16th location in New York and first in Orange County
What:
Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with stores throughout New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania is celebrating the grand opening of its store at 88 North Plank Road in the Town of Newburgh, on Saturday, March 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
OSJL purchased the 55,296 square-foot shopping center on North Plank Road from The Livianos Group, LLC in early 2022 and opened the 41,676 square foot store in December of 2022. The Newburgh location is OSJL’s 16th store in New York and its first in Orange County.
The grand opening event is open to the public and will include a speaking program with local dignitaries, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a presentation of a pallet of non-perishable foods to the Union Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and a donation of housewares to the YIT Foundation as part of OSJL’s “Close To Our Heart” program.
Guests will also enjoy a live broadcast from WRNQ, food trucks, fun activities, and giveaways.
