North Kingstown, RI – (August 5, 2024) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retail chain with 153 stores across the Northeast, is pleased to announce it will open a new store in Pottstown, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2024. The new location will be the chain’s 11th store in the Commonwealth and its second in Montgomery County.

Located at 799 N. State Street in the Pottstown Plaza, the leased location will provide nearly 40,000 square feet of convenient shopping space for customers. The store will be located within the space previously vacated by GIANT food store, where Grocery Outlet opened earlier this year. Plaza co-tenants include Tractor Supply, Goodwill, Domino’s, and Applebee’s. Currently, the closest OSJL locations are in Shillington and Montgomeryville.
OSJL will hire for various positions, including store leadership; supervisory; and full-time, part-time and seasonal associates.
