Ocean State Job Lot Teams Up with Veterans, Inc. to Assemble 2,000 Sleep Well Kits for Veterans in Need

Approximately 50 volunteers will gather at Veterans Inc. in Worcester to assemble essential bedding, bath, and personal care kits for veterans

What: Approximately 50 volunteers from Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), Veterans Inc., the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department, and other community partners will assemble 2,000 Sleep Well Kits for veterans in need on Friday, October 9th.

Each kit will include a pillow, sheet set, blanket, bath and hand towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a razor. Kits for female veterans will also include feminine hygiene products.

Following the event, 150 kits will remain with Veterans Inc. for distribution, while the remaining kits will be distributed to other organizations throughout New England.

Operation Sleep Well, an initiative of the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation, provides essential move-in kits to veterans transitioning into housing.
