Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Grand Opening of Pottstown, PA Store

Elected Officials, OSJL Representatives & Excited Customers Celebrate the Opening of the 11th Store; Second in Montgomery County             

Pottstown, PA – (December 7, 2024) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is pleased to announce the opening of its 11th store in Pennsylvania, its second in Montgomery County, at 799 N. State Street in the Pottstown Plaza. The new store offers nearly 40,000 square feet of retail shopping space and new job opportunities for the community.

OSJL marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring State Senator Tracy Pennycuick, Pottstown Mayor Stephanie Henrick, Assistant Borough Manager Zachary Nelson, 3rd  Ward Council Vice President Donald Lebedynsky, and 5th Ward Council President Dan Weand.

As part of its commitment to the communities in which it does business, the OSJL Charitable Foundation donated 50 warm winter coats to The American Legion Boyertown Post 0471.

The grand opening festivities also included complimentary caricatures from a local artist and photos with Santa. Job Lot Insiders that made a purchase during the event also had the opportunity to win three giveaway items valued at over $1,000. DJs from 102.9 MGK were on-hand for a live broadcast and giveaways.

OSJL opened new locations in former Christmas Tree Shops in Pembroke and Avon, MA and Warwick, RI this fall, as well as new stores in Holmdel, NJ, Augusta, ME, and is scheduled to open a location in St. Alban’s, VT mid-December.
