Ocean State Job Lot Launches ‘Buy, Give, Get’ Baby Essentials Program to Support Families in Need
New program builds on successful baby formula initiative that provided 164,000 cans of formula, valued at approximately $3.3 million, to families facing financial strain
North Kingstown, RI – August 20, 2026 – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), home of Crazy Deals® and one of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic’s leading discount retail chains, today announced the launch of its new “Buy, Give, Get” Baby Essentials program, giving customers an opportunity to help provide high-quality infant and baby products to families in need at no net cost to them.
The new program builds on the success of OSJL’s recent “Buy, Give, Get” Baby Formula program, through which customers helped the company provide 164,000 cans of baby formula, valued at approximately $3.3 million, to new parents and families facing financial strain.
Beginning Thursday, August 20, customers can BUY two essential baby items for $20.00 at any Ocean State Job Lot store, GIVE the items back to the store as a donation to families in need, and GET a $20.00 Crazy Deal® Gift Card to be used on a future purchase. When customers use the Crazy Deal® Gift Card, their final cost is zero.

Baby essentials donated through the program, including onesies, blankets, sleep sets and other infant and baby products, will be distributed to families in need through OSJL’s charitable and community partners, including Catholic Charities, select Veterans Administration locations from Maine to Maryland, Veterans Inc., and Provision Ministry.
