Ocean State Job Lot Enters into Long-term Lease of Space in Mechanicsburg, PA
Rhode Island-based Retailer with 152 Stores will Open 10th Store in Pennsylvania in Late 2023
North Kingstown, RI – (August 9, 2023) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retail chain with 152 stores across the Northeast, recently entered into a lease agreement for the former Marshalls space at Silver Spring Commons, located at 6520 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, PA, from THF Silver Spring Development, L.P. (The Kroenke Group). The new OSJL store, the Keystone State’s 10th, is slated to open in late November 2023.
OSJL will occupy 31,939 sq. feet of the total Silver Spring Commons Shopping Center, which totals 450,065 square feet. The location has been vacant since 2017, and once the renovation is complete, the store will offer customers a big, bright shopping experience, restoring vibrancy to this previously vacant retail location and creating new jobs in the community.

OSJL will be hiring for approximately 50 positions, including store leadership, supervisory, full-time and part-time positions.
