Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Opening of Mays Landing, New Jersey Store

Former Big Lots is now OSJL ‘s 11th store in Garden State and second in Atlantic County

What: Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retailer, will celebrate the opening of its newest store in New Jersey, located at 4215 Black Horse Pike in the Hamilton Commons shopping center, on Saturday, November 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. The 34,120 sq. ft. store will be OSJL’s 11th location in the Garden State and its second in Atlantic County. The store will occupy a space formerly home to Big Lots and is part of OSJL’s continued investment in repurposing well-known retail sites.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. featuring remarks from local elected officials and OSJL executives. The OSJL Charitable Foundation will also provide a donation to Toys for Tots Atlantic County, New Jersey.

The event will continue until 12 p.m. with free pictures with Santa, complimentary glitter tattoos, complimentary donuts and beverages, and a live broadcast from 100.7 WZXL. All event attendees will also have the opportunity to win one of three $150 Ocean State Job Lot gift cards and one of five adult bikes valued at $299.
