Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Grand Opening of Trexlertown, PA Store
OSJL adds two new stores in former Big Lots locations in the Keystone State in June
North Kingstown, RI – (June 7, 2025) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retail chain, celebrated the opening of its newest store in Pennsylvania, located at 7150 Hamilton Boulevard, Trexlertown, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon. The nearly 34,000 sq. ft. space, formerly home to a Big Lots, marks OSJL’s 13th store in the Keystone State. The Company also celebrated the opening of its Harrisburg store this morning.
OSJL executives joined local officials for a celebration that highlighted the company’s continued investment in revitalizing well-known retail sites and expanding job opportunities in the region. And, as part of OSJL’s ongoing commitment to the communities it serves, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation donated 250 backpacks to the Allentown YMCA.
In addition to the ribbon cutting, customers enjoyed free pictures with Bluey, complimentary glitter tattoos, complimentary donuts and beverages, and a live broadcast from a local radio station. All attendees had the chance to win one of three $150 Ocean State Job Lot gift cards.

This location has created new jobs for the area, including supervisory, full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. OSJL expects to continue its expansion across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with additional store openings throughout 2025.
