Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Grand Opening of Relocated Waterbury, CT Store
New location provides 10,000 square feet of additional shopping space and additional parking
North Kingstown, RI – (October 1, 2025) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retail chain with 176 locations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, is pleased to announce the opening of its new Waterbury, CT store, which recently relocated from 771 Lakewood Road to 855 Lakewood Road, in a plaza that Ocean State Job Lot purchased earlier this year.
Offering 37,000 sq. ft. of expansive retail space, the new store breathes life into a formerly vacant building previously occupied by Bernie’s and Jump Zone. Providing nearly 10,000 additional square feet of shopping space than its original location, OSJL’s new Waterbury store offers customers a better shopping layout, easier access, additional parking, and a more convenient location.
