Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Grand Opening of Glassboro with Community Donations and Crazy Deals
OSJL marks 12th New Jersey location and second in Gloucester County
North Kingstown, RI – (September 4, 2026) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) celebrated the grand opening of its newest store today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 731 Delsea Drive in Glassboro, New Jersey. The 40,000-square-foot store, formerly home to Big Lots, marks OSJL’s 12th location in New Jersey and its second in Gloucester County, continuing the company’s strategic repurposing of well-known, vacant retail sites across the Mid-Atlantic.
OSJL executives and team members were joined by local officials and community partners for the celebration, including Gloucester County Commissioner Nick DeSilvio; Glassboro Borough Council President Anna Miller; and Glassboro Borough Councilwoman Danielle Spence.
As part of OSJL’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation donated one pallet of food to Angels Community Outreach.
The grand opening celebration continued with family-friendly activities including free coffee and donuts, free glitter tattoos, and free photos with Woody from Toy Story. The first 100 people also received a gift card valued between $10.00 and $100.00.
To drive excitement during its opening, OSJL is offering high-value incentives for savvy shoppers. Through Wednesday, September 16, customers who sign up to be a Job Lot Insider and spend $30.00 or more will receive 40% back as a Crazy Deal® Gift Card to use on a future purchase.
