Ocean State Job Lot Announces 11th Annual ‘Buy, Give, Get’ Coats Program for Veterans and Military Families
The program will provide tens of thousands of winter coats to veterans and others in need across the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic
North Kingstown, RI – (October 14, 2026) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), home of Crazy Deals® and one of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic’s leading discount retail chains, is pleased to announce the return of its annual ‘Buy, Give, Get’ coats program, beginning Thursday, October 15. Now in its 11th year, OSJL has provided more than 450,000 coats to people in need, including veterans, since 2016.
During OSJL’s ‘Buy, Give, Get’ coat donation program, any customer who buys a warm winter coat at OSJL for $45.00 (retail value of $200.00 or more) and gives it back to the store as a donation, will get a $45.00 Crazy Deal Gift Card to be used for a future purchase online or at any Ocean State Job Lot store.
Approximately 90,000 winter coats are expected to be available through this year’s program for distribution to people in need, including veterans, in partnership with a multi-state network of more than 50 support agencies, organizations, assistance programs, and action groups across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Some restrictions apply for the redemption and use of the Crazy Deal Gift Card. Promotion does not apply to Ship-to-Store purchases. Participants must be registered as a Job Lot Insider.
