Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Elizabethtown Store Opening
Event marks 151st store for retailer; eighth location in Pennsylvania
What:
Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with stores throughout New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania is celebrating the grand opening of its 151st store at 1605 South Market Street in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, March 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
OSJL’s store occupies roughly 55,000 sq. ft. of the nearly 95,000 sq. ft. space, which was previously home to a Kmart and has been vacant since 2019. It is OSJL’s eighth location in the state of Pennsylvania. The company opened its seventh store in Willow Street, PA this past summer.
The event is open to the public and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a presentation of a donation to local nonprofit community outreach and housing services provider Echos, and a donation to The American Legion Post 329 in support of its Memorial Day event through OSJL’s “Close to Our Heart” program.
Guests will also enjoy a live broadcast from WNNK-FM Wink 104, food trucks, free activities, and giveaways.
OSJL is also hosting another grand opening event for its 152nd store, its ninth store in the state, in Shillington, PA from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the same day.
