Ocean State Job Lot to Open New Store in North Conway in 2nd Quarter 2025
38,500 sq. ft. store will be OSJL’s 18th in New Hampshire; second in Carroll County
North Kingstown, RI – (March 4, 2025) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a premier discount retail chain with 159 stores across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, is pleased to announce it will open a new store in North Conway, New Hampshire in the second quarter of 2025. The new location will be the chain’s 18th store in the state and its second in Carroll County. OSJL’s next closest store is approximately 30 miles away in Ossipee.
Located at the Mountain Valley Mall, 32 Mountain Valley Boulevard in North Conway, the 38,500 square-foot store will occupy a space previously home to JCPenney, which closed its doors in 2020, continuing OSJL’s strategic repurposing of former retail sites. The company has also acquired several former Christmas Tree Shops properties in RI, MA, ME, and VT.
