Ocean State Job Lot Celebrates Grand Opening of Queensbury, NY Store

16th store in New York and first in Warren County celebrated by elected officials, OSJL representatives & customers         

Queensbury, NY – (February 24, 2025) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is pleased to announce the opening of its 16th store in New York, its first in Warren County, at 751 Upper Glen Street in Glen Square. The new store offers more than 30,000 square feet of retail shopping space and new job opportunities for the community.

OSJL marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Town Supervisor John Strough; Councilmen Scott Gushlaw and Michael Dixon; County Supervisor Nathan Etu; and Assemblyman Matt Simpson.

The OSJL Charitable Foundation donated warm winter coats for veterans to the American Legion Hudson Falls Post 574 to honor their commitment to the communities in which it does business.

The grand opening festivities also included free coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, glitter tattoos, and pictures with Disney characters Moana and Bluey. All attendees also had the opportunity to win one of three $150 OSJL gift cards.

This location has created jobs for nearly 50 people in the community including supervisory, full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. OSJL is expected to open approximately 20 new stores this year and will bring storefronts to two new states, Maryland and Delaware.
