North Kingstown, RI – (March 28, 2024) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s premier discount retail chain with 153 stores across the Northeast, is pleased to announce it will open a new store in Holmdel, New Jersey in late-summer/early-fall 2024. The new location will be the chain’s eighth in the Garden State and second in Monmouth County. It is also conveniently located just sixteen minutes from the former location in Shrewsbury, NJ which closed in 2019.

Located at 2145 NJ Route 35 next to Kohl’s in Holmdel, the leased location will provide more than 37,000 square feet of shopping space to the vacant space, restoring vibrancy to this former Stein Mart location and creating new jobs in the community.
OSJL will hire for various positions, including store leadership, supervisory, and full-time and part-time associates.
