Ocean State Job Lot Relocating Seekonk, MA Store

North Kingstown, Rhode Island – (September 21, 2023) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with stores throughout New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, is relocating its Seekonk, MA store at 150 Highland Avenue/Route 6 to the vacant Bed Bath & Beyond space at 35 Highland Avenue/Route 6, which is in a plaza recently purchased by OSJL and includes Chipotle, Harbor Freight Tools, Petco, Mattress Firm, and JOANN Fabric and Crafts.  Construction has begun with a tentative targeted opening date of late November/early December. The original Seekonk, MA OSJL store opened on November 16, 1999.

The new location will combine the Bed Bath & Beyond space as well as a portion of the former Golfsmith store to provide 29,844 square-feet of shopping space, an increase of more than 10,000 square-feet from the original store. The bigger, brighter shopping experience will offer customers an improved layout as well as additional parking.

The retailer is currently accepting applications and hiring additional team members for its store relocation in Seekonk. Positions include part-time stock/sales and maintenance opportunities.
